Terms of Use
Plain-language terms for using the tools.
Using the tools
DevPocket is free for personal and commercial use. You may use the output of any tool in your own projects. You may not use the site in a way that disrupts it, or attempt to copy it wholesale and present it as your own.
No warranty
The tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind. We test them carefully, but formatting, conversion, minification, hashing and decoding can produce unexpected results for unusual input. Always review output before you deploy it, commit it or rely on it for anything important. In particular, the JWT decoder does not verify signatures, and hashes such as MD5 and SHA-1 are not suitable for protecting passwords or other security-critical data.
Your responsibility for your data
Although the tools process data locally, you remain responsible for the information you handle, including complying with any confidentiality obligations. Avoid sharing links that embed sensitive input.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or its output, including lost data, lost profits or security incidents.
Third-party software
The site uses open-source libraries under permissive licences (Terser, js-beautify, yaml, Next.js and React). Their licences remain with their authors.
Changes
We may update the tools and these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site means you accept the current terms.
